Ram (Random Access memory)
The Most common type of memory is called random access memory
(RAM) as a result the term memory is typically used to mean RAM. RAM is like an electronics scratch pad inside the computer.
Ram holds data and program instruction while the C.P.U works with them when a program is launched
its loaded into and run from memory. As th progam is need data, its loaded into a memory for fast access as new data is entered into computer its aslo stored in memory but only temporary.
Data is both written to read from memory
Ram( Random Access memory) is also sometimes called read and write the data
ram is volatile meanings that loses its contents when the computer is shut down if there is a power failure.
there fore ram needs constants supply of power to hold its data.
